Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Lady Gaga. She was born in Manhattan, New York in the United States. Her mother is Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile company Verizon. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. is her father, director of a company on the internet and businessman. She was born and raised as a Catholic in Manhattan's Upper East Side. The parents of her were enrolled at the Convent of the Sacred Heart which is a prestigious religious institution. Her love of music began as a small toddler. She learned how to play a keyboard, and at the age of thirteen, wrote her first music. She was a part of open-mic night. Her most favored artists included David Bowie, Madonna and Queen Michael Jackson. When she finished high school she was accepted into the Tisch School of Art of New York University where she took music classes. The student did not finish her education, but she did leave the school to start her musical career.
